Aging As We Know It Is Changing

Across the globe – and here in the United States and in New Jersey – we are approaching a day when the young will no longer dramatically outnumber the old.

In its present state, New Jersey is not prepared to meet the needs of our future seniors.

Many towns and municipalities are disjointed, hard to navigate without driving, and are predominantly comprised of single family homes. These same issues affect New Jerseyans of all ages, many of whom are looking for more walkable communities with affordable housing options.

We need to rethink how our communities are built

That’s where YOU come in.

The Age-Friendly North Jersey Alliance brings together communities, governments, and the brightest minds in age-friendly policy to build better communities that work for all New Jerseyans.
