DESCRIPTION:Sara Gorman\, PhD\, MPH\, Program Director at the Alzheimer’s Association Greater New Jersey Chapter\, will discuss some of the programs and resources the chapter has to offer\, including  the Association’s wide range of educational programs for the general public on the signs of Alzheimer’s and the nature of the disease\, caregiver training\, including how to respond to and manage dementia-related behaviors\, how to communicate effectively\, how to support independence for those who struggle with activities of daily living\, how to plan for the future (financially and otherwise)\, and other related topics.
