The Salem County Office on Aging & Disabilities was awarded a grant to conduct a needs assessment, focus groups and listening sessions to better understand the challenges and needs of seniors in this South Jersey county of roughly 65,000 residents. As a predominantly rural county, Salem County faces significant challenges with limited healthcare access, transportation options, affordable housing and growing concern about social isolation.
