Community Baptist Church of Englewood 224 1st Street, Englewood, New Jersey

One of the more pressing problems for older adults and others is not knowing where to go for the help they need. Many turn to their health care providers or to town officials, who also may not be aware of the many programs, benefits and resources available to their residents. Let's Fill the Knowledge Gap! The meeting will open with brief presentations by providers of services about the programs and services they offer. This will be followed by networking and exchanging contact information and resources. WHO should attend -- to share info? Bergen County-area organizations and agencies that provide direct care and services, transportation, housing supports, social programs or other supports to older adults and individuals with disabilities Email janet.sharma.44@gmail.com if you wish to briefly present your organization. WHO should attend -- to listen, learn and ask questions? Service providers, social workers, senior center directors, health care/public health providers, discharge planners, librarians, recreation department leaders, municipal clerks and other town leaders who serve as “navigators” to their local residents.
